Archangel Imaging joins Tech Nation’s Applied AI programme

Updated: Dec 12, 2020

Archangel Imaging has announced that it has been selected to join Applied AI 2.0, Tech Nation’s prestigious growth programme for Artificial Intelligence companies.

Archangel Imaging was selected as one of 32 companies to join the cohort in the path of successful TechNation alumni including Monzo, Just Eat, Zoopla, and many more.

Applied AI is Tech Nation’s first growth programme for Artificial Intelligence to help the UK’s most promising founders who are applying AI in practical areas and to create real-world impact. The programme is based on peer-to-peer support and the shared experience of later-stage founders, all curated under the values of honesty, intimacy and trust.

The six-month programme focuses on providing founders and leaders of the sector with invaluable skills, a powerful network – including peers, investors and potential clients – and the ability to implement changes that will help their companies grow.

Jonathan Mist, Archangel Imaging Co-Founder, said ‘At Archangel Imaging we believe in a future where humans and machines work closely together to solve the world's most complex problems like protecting people, animals and infrastructure. We are incredibly excited to join this Tech Nation cohort to work with the best in the industry to accelerate our vision.'

About Archangel Imaging

Archangel Imaging is an award-winning startup that helps companies protect their remote assets. Sometimes those assets are railways, sometimes oil flowing through pipelines, sometimes it's ivory on the nose of rhino. Archangel Imaging offers affordable and highly flexible plug-and-play solutions tailored to the end user’s needs without the need for existing infrastructure. Its smart devices run AI algorithms locally on the cameras, and can be integrated with smart sensors, UAVs or drones. Users can then coordinate these different resources, easily and effectively, through our human-machine collaboration platform called Cerebella.
